An exhibition featuring the works of twelve Central Otago Artists will open in the Henderson Gallery at Central Stories Museum and Art Gallery, Alexandra during May and June.
The “A Muster of Artists” Exhibition will feature painting, jewellery, ceramics, fibre art, printmaking, woodcarving and photography.
The works to be exhibited are from artists who have not previously had works exhibited in the Muster of Artists Exhibition.
Central Stories Manager Brian Budd said “it is fantastic to be able to exhibit the works of a number of Central Otago Artists all of whom work in a variety of medium and styles. One of the aims of the exhibition is to give an opportunity for emerging, new and existing Artists to have their work exhibited. One of the special things about Central Otago is the diverse talent that exists amongst our artistic community and to be able to bring that together into this exhibition is something special.”
